ARTS IN EDUCATION
 
Tales from Ireland:
Interactive story telling takes children on adventures through the Dublin Mountain’s, the markets and parks in Dublin City and boat trips to the Aran Islands and Wales. Stories are set in the 1970’s and told through real life accounts with musical accompaniment on guitar and bodhran (Irish drum).

Symbols of Ireland and Their Meanings: Interactive program explains through powerpoint presentation, the meanings of the celtic harp, mysterious leprechaun, the shamrock and other Irish symbols for children in grades 3 – 6 throughout the Suffolk County school districts and libraries.

 Programs end with a performance on the bodhran (Irish drum)..



School Rocks!: Fun and interactive Pop/rock concert focuses on the curriculum of grades 3 – 6 while teaching children about the water cycle, the earths crust, studying techniques, the U.S. government, anti-bullying, self esteem and more, through original and easy to remember songs. Children are encouraged to actively participate in the auditorium and on stage. Songs will be available for studying purposes on the internet in the near future.

Jazz:

Bookings for roaming jazz performances in nursing homes and assisted living residences can be made here! Singing popular standards using tracks from world famous musicians, Alice walks from room to room, bringing music to each and every patient/resident.
